Election FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • How do I nominate someone for the forthcoming IITB Alumni Association Elections 2011?
    You can do so by sending an authenticated email to the election Officer or sending the nomination form as per the Performa given in the IITBAA Annual Report 2010-11
  • Who is eligible to vote?
    All Life Members of IITBAA are eligible - click here to obtain a Life Membership form. If you or your friends did not get an email solicitation to cast your vote, please have them contact the Election Officer.
  • How do I cast my vote?
    You can cast your vote by exercising the option of e-voting available on the IITBAA Election Portal or by sending in a postal ballot using the form attached to the Annual Report duly completed, signed & posted in sealed envelope to the IITBAA Office.
  • How many times can I vote?
    Just once. After you have voted, you may re-visit the election website to ascertain the same.
  • How / When will I know the election results?
    Election results will be posted on the IITBAA Election Portal after the elections have concluded on 08th August, 2011.
